where artist development is holistic human development

WHO ARE WE?

Breaks In The Simulation is a creative organization specializing in Artist Development and Discovery. Founded by a passionate artist, educator, music enthusiast, and mental health specialist,  we have a deep understanding of the unique challenges and pressures faced by artists in the music industry, and we strive to create a community where artists can find support, guidance, and inspiration. We firmly believes that the path to artistic excellence goes hand in hand with personal growth, skill development, and emotional resilience. Our organization is ever-growing and shifting, as we are dedicated to understanding and honoring the unique needs of artists and creatives.

WHAT DO WE DO?

We believe that by focusing on mental and spiritual development, we can empower music artists to cultivate a strong foundation of emotional well-being and resilience. Our organization seeks to equip artists with the tools and resources necessary to navigate the pressures of the music industry and strengthen social-emotional skills.

Through our innovative event programming, carefully designed workshops, and tailored resources, we provide music artists with the tools and knowledge necessary to navigate the complex landscape of the music industry while safeguarding their mental and spiritual well-being. Our programs focus on cultivating self-awareness, emotional intelligence, creative expression, mindfulness techniques, and building robust support networks within the music community.

OUR VISION

Our goal is to transform the music industry into an environment that fosters mental and spiritual well-being, celebrates artistic expression, and values the overall holistic health of music artists. We envision a safe and sustainable environment where artists thrive, finding fulfillment, balance, and purpose in their creative journeys.

OUR MISSION

empower, equip, and support music artists by using event programming as a transformative platform to enhance mental and spiritual development, ultimately preventing mental health crises within the music industry

“In our culture, we associate vulnerability with emotions we want to avoid such as fear, shame, and uncertainty. Yet we too often lose sight of the fact that vulnerability is also the birthplace of joy, belonging, creativity, authenticity, and love.” - Brené Brown
